Social Justice Commission
What is the Social Justice Commission (SJC)?
The Social Justice Commission is a group of concerned parishioners of Holy Trinity Parish who are committed to carrying out the Seven Basic Tenants of Catholic Social Justice. Currently there are 9 members on this commission, as well as a parish staff member and a delegate from the Parish Council.
Our commission meets on the second Thursday of every month, except in July and December, at 6:30 pm in the Parish Education Center. We discuss ongoing projects and three annual projects conducted to help the poor in our community. Additionally, we provide information and select new opportunities to assist the poor and needy in our area and throughout the world.
Anyone interested is invited to attend our meetings, offer ideas and support, and join us in our mission to spread the good news, “none of us are alone.” Please join us!
