Developed in conjunction with

-Planned  – a decision that requires thought ahead of time, not giving merely what we have left;
-Proportionate – our giving is proportionate to how God has blessed us;
-Sacrificial  – we give back to God first, not last; giving up some of our wants and desires;
-Thankful – our offering is a grateful response to the immense love God has shown for us;
-Gift – like any gift to a loved one, what we give to our church is given without reservation or
          condition, to continue the mission and ministry of our Lord.

Many parishioners wonder what is the appropriate level of support for the parish – perhaps seeking a suggested dollar amount.  But an honest answer requires more thought because the best answer is that our giving to our parish should make some difference in how we as people of faith experience life from day to day.   Our giving should define our priorities, help the less fortunate, support the mission of Christ and his Church, and strengthen our relationship with God, as we make a return to the Lord for all the good that he has done for us.Please take some time to bring this important decision to the Lord in prayer. After you have made your decision, you can then submit your pledge either by clicking on the Web pledge form button below and submit your Pledge online or by clicking on the Print and Mail-in Pledge Form button below. Printed forms may be mailed, placed in the collection basket, or dropped off at the office

  Gracious God

 Gracious God, we thank you for the unique gifts you have given us to extend your Kingdom here on earth. May we be challenged to reconsider our priorities and values, always placing God and faith at the center of our life.

Help us become more focused on loving and caring for our families and our neighbors. Open our hearts to the realization that we are called to give up something of ourselves so that life can flourish. When we give this way we are changed and will make a difference in the lives of others.

Jesus, help us to commit ourselves to be good stewards of the gifts entrusted to us, to share our time, our talent and our treasure as an outward sign of our love. We pray this in thanksgiving for the many blessings we have received.

Stewardship Treasure:  The autumn season reminds us that life is filled with ongoing change and the opportunity for ever deepening growth. The glorious colors of the falling leaves help us to realize that we need to revere and appreciate everyone and everything that God has placed into our lives as blessings that we are to be grateful for as we walk with him each day. So it is at this time of year that we, as disciples and as the Body of Christ, review the quality of our stewardship over the past year in giving TIME to our relationship with our Lord, TALENT in service of others, and TREASURE to support the mission and ministry of the Church and our parish community.  I thank you for the generosity of your giving to our parish family as I ask you, in particular, to recommit yourself to the financial support of our parish.

As we begin our Lenten journey this season, we ask that you reflect on the many talents God has given you, and how God might be calling you to share those talents, as well as your time, with your fellow parishioners and our community at large as we work in the Lord's vineyard to build up the body of Christ. In order to accomplish so great a mission, we ask that each of our parishioners choose to become involved in at least one parish ministry. Provided the link below is a Stewardship of Time and Talent Commitment form. We ask that each adult member complete a separate form. If you have children involved in ministries, ie: altar servers, choir, etc., have them also fill out a pledge form. You may want to sign up for a new ministry or simply renew the current ministries you serve in. If you have a talent or skill you would like to share that isn't already listed, feel free to write that in as well! After you have completed filling out the form you may save it and attach it to email to Diana Brown atThis email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or you may print it and drop it off in the collection basket on Sunday, or return it to the Parish Office any time during the week (use the mail slot if after-hours).

 We need the commitment of every parishioner to continue to support the life and ministries of our parish. Your commitment to our Parish is a gift that truly supports the work of Christ. Thank you for your prayerful consideration of the commitment that you will make to our Lord and to our faith community. May your Lent be a time of spiritual renewal and joy in our Lord.

Stewardship Prayer

God, my creator, you made me all that I am

and gave me all that I have.

Help me show my gratitude by using these gifts to serve others

in your name.

Jesus, my redeemer, you taught me the way to eternal life

by your example of loving service to others.

Grant me the courage to respond to your call to discipleship

by following in your footsteps.

Holy Spirit of God be with me as I choose each day to put you

first in my life.

Let me be a model of Christian Stewardship so others will come

to know you through my actions.

I pray, dear God, that you open the minds and hearts of all men,

women and young people of our parish that we may joyfully

accept your challenge to be good stewards.

“The founding families of our parish sacrificed to ensure that the Catholic Church and Christ's message would be a living presence in our community.  I know that you, as a member of our parish, want to continue that tradition and receive the happiness and satisfaction of good Stewardship.”

“Therefore, I am writing to you with an unconditional offer to receive those graces through the guaranteed joy in giving of yourself.  In all my years in ministry, I have never met anyone who did not feel greater joy in giving than in receiving.”

Luke 6:38.... Your gift will return to you in full and overflowing measure pressed down shaken together to make room for more and running over.

Whatever measure you use to give - large or small will be used to measure what is given back to you.”
